Brother Coyote, Sister Fox, and chicken puppets

Date and Time: Monday, May 2nd, 7 p.m.

Location: Mercer Island Library, 4400 88th Avenue SE, Mercer Island, Washington

To celebrate Children’s Day/Book Day (El día de los niños/El día de los libros), the Friends of the Mercer Island Library are proud to sponsor a puppet show adaptation of the beloved Mexican folktale “Brother Coyote and Sister Fox.”

Brother Coyote wants to catch and eat one of Doña Conchita’s plump chickens. Quick-witted Sister Fox is always one step ahead of him, waiting to trick him with one of her clever schemes to keep all of the chickens to herself.  Presented by Thistle Theater, this performance is appropriate for children ages 3 and older.

In Spanish and English…with plenty of clucks.

Free tickets given out 30 minutes prior to the program.  Space is limited.
