Attend and learn three basic and essential stitches: casting on (getting the stitches on the needle), knit stitch, and binding off (getting your project off the knitting needles). Parents must attend with ages 3 to 7.The Kuna (Guna) people of Isla San Blas create colorful textiles and clothing using bright satin fabric combining patterns of birds, sea life, flowers and insects. Felted Flowers Saturday, February 20, 2pm

Presented by Flora Carlile-Kovacs, Felt Designer and Instructor.
Ages 18 and older.
Wet felting is an ancient textile technique that combines hand-dyed wool fibers, soap, water, and agitation. Participants will create a unique, durable felt piece that will be used to create flowers. All supplies provided.
