Come to the library to browse our ongoing book sale. The books are located on the west wall by the entrance to the library.

• Friday, March 27, 2009: Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. in the Mercer Island Library large meeting room.
• From Wednesday, April 1, 2009 to Sunday, April 5, 2009: Spring Mini Book Sale during normal library hours. The sale will feature fiction of all kinds, including children's books, as well as a limited selection of non-fiction. Prices will start at 50 cents for mass market paperbacks, $1.50 for oversized paperbacks and hardback fiction and $2.00 and on up for non-fiction.
• Saturday, April 4, 2009: "The Verdict" at 1:00 p.m. with a lecture by Lance Rhoades as part of the Saturday Matinee Series--The Paul Newman Film Retrospective.
• Saturday, April 18, 2009: "Road to Perdition" at 1:00 p.m. with a lecture by Lance Rhoades as part of the Saturday Matinee Series--The Paul Newman Film Retrospective.
• Friday, May 29, 2009: Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. in the Mercer Island Library large meeting room.
• Friday, July 31, 2009: Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. in the Mercer Island Library large meeting room.
• Friday, September 25, 2009: Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. in the Mercer Island Library large meeting room.
